Apply Online

Each applicant to our program must complete the application form online and submit all requirements by the application deadline. Our program is offered through the School of Medicine and this school must be selected to access our Reproductive Sciences program application form.

Applicants to the program must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants to the program must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university by the time of enrollment, and most applicants will have majored in life sciences or a related field. Preferred (but not required) life sciences coursework includes: molecular biology, cellular biology, biochemistry, and genetics. It is beneficial, and preferred, for Clinical Embryology concentration applicants to have completed at least 6 credits of chemistry coursework in their undergraduate or graduate studies prior to beginning the MSRS program as this is required for AAB ELS certification.
  • Academic record: One transcript from each university (undergraduate and graduate) attended must be provided. Unofficial transcripts will be acceptable for application evaluation. If an applicant is offered admission, one official transcript for each university attended will be required before a student can enroll. Grade point average will be considered as a component in a holistic review of a candidate’s academic record. Particular attention will be given to a candidate’s background in science and biology.
  • Personal Statement: Provide a Statement of Purpose that demonstrates your interest in the program as well as academic potential. Your statement should describe formative experiences or sources of personal motivation to provide helpful background and insights for our admissions team. If applicable, you should also describe research or relevant work experience. The Statement of Purpose should not exceed two (2) pages.
  • Submit two (2) letters of recommendation from individuals who are academically and/or professionally acquainted with the applicant. Applicants will be encouraged to select recommenders who can speak to the strengths and qualities they will bring to the classroom, research lab, and the university community.
  • Submit a professional resume or curriculum vitae (CV). CV must outline your: education, research and professional experience, presentations and publications, and relevant honors, awards, activities, and volunteer work.
  • English proficiency: Non-native English speakers must submit a Test of English as a Foreign Language score of at least 90 or an International English Language Testing System rating of at least 6.5. At-home or in-person versions of either exam, if offered, will be accepted.
  • Submit a $25 non-refundable application fee. Waiver of this fee due to financial hardship may be available upon request for those meeting certain criteria.

Applications for Fall enrollment will be accepted between September 1st and March 31st of the prior academic year. The “Priority Deadline” is January 15th, and the “Second-Round Deadline” is March 31st. Submitting all application materials by January 15th ensures that your application is among the first reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Applying on or before the priority deadline can increase your overall chances of receiving an admission decision before second-round applicants are reviewed.
